I wanted to say thank you to all those who participated IN THE NYC Healthcare Coalition Meeting earlier this week and viewed our presentation. 
Just a quick recap.  Facilitator Technologiessm has been working for NYC H + H since 1997 and in healthcare since 1992.
On June 7th, 2023, Janice Halloran asked me to review their current means of sheltering as a result of a patient incident in the audiology department.
Janice A. Halloran, MPA, CHEP, as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Jacobi, the Chairperson, Emergency Preparedness Program & the Co-Chairperson, Bronx Emergency Preparedness Coalition, requests are NEVER subtle… “Make my people safe”!
As both a material and door expert as well as having intimate knowledge of codes for CMS, FDNY, NFPA, TJC and others, I have a unique skillset.
Over the last 20 months we have actualized and brought to fruition both the method and the specifics of a solution called Occupant Preserver™.
A solution for Active-Assailant mitigation is not just a mere device… it is a system that includes training and coordination from FD, PD, various other AHJs and of course senior management within the facility itself.
Occupant Preserver™ has been field tested by Navy Seals, FDNY, ESU, CISA, DC Fire, AOC and… “Team Jacobi” including Carrie Shumway, Janice Halloran, Kevin Campbell, George Pagan, Jordana Baily, Javier Miranda & many others.
Occupant Preserver™ is now patented here and in 147 countries as well as the first product of its kind FDNY allow for all occupancy types.  Further, FDNY, CTTF, ESU, RTF & EMS have already drilled and trained on the overall shelter management system.
It’s an honor to share with you the attached video produced by the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
